Hua Wei Chan is a chartered professional accountant based in Canada. A fourth-generation Chinese born in Malaysia, Hua Wei has been fond of numbers since he was little. Although his mother did not know the best way for him to learn numbers, when he was 3 he memorized multiplication tables up to 12x12 after coming across the tables on the cover of a book.
Hua Wei is a 3x competitor at MCWC, including in 2012, when he finished 2nd overall, 3rd in addition, and 2nd in multiplication. He also competed at Memoriad.
Hua Wei was trained in traditional abacus approaches and is one of the few past competitors at Western events who performs multiplication from left to right.

Jure is a Herzegovinian mental calculation competitor who finished 9th in Season 1 of Calculation League and 6th in Season 2. Upon starting Calculation League, Jure immediately demonstrated a high visualization ability, and then quickly further developed his techniques, advancing to the finals in Season 2.
Outside of mental calculation, Jure also likes mathematics and was a strong Kangaroo competitor. He also participates in —- and hosts —- a trivia competition, and previously memorized over 500 digits of pi.
Jure also enjoys athletics as well as playing handball and table tennis.

Domenico Mancuso is a philosopher and math teacher in Turin who competed at the 2022 and 2024 MCWC and has won the Italian national championship on four occasions. Additionally, he competes in mathematical games and has twice represented Italy at the Championnats Internationaux de Jeux Mathématiques. Domenico is currently working on a graduate degree in history to add to his experience with Latin paleography.
Domenico finished 8th in each of the first two seasons of Calculation League as well as at the 2024 Mental Calculation World Cup.

Kamil Kotowicz is a Polish mental calculator who finished 9th in Seasons 2 & 3 of Calculation League. Having had an interest in mental calculation for many years, Kamil became more serious about mental calculation through the Art of Memory forum. Preferring non-standard tasks that often emphasize quantitative reasoning or the application of mathematical principles, Kamil coded his own custom trainer to practice mental calculation.
Kamil holds degrees in mathematics and computer science (masters degree) and was a competitive computer programmer in Codeforces. He currently works as a hybrid data scientist/data engineer.

Freddis Reyes is an experienced Cuban mental calculator living in Germany. He is a 7x competitor at the MCWC and has 6 top-13 overall finishes. Freddis is a two-time medalist in multiplication, and won the event in 2012 at both the Mental Calculation World Cup and Memoriad.

Stephanie is a Chinese-American student at Harvard University, currently completing a graduate degree in biomedical informatics. In 2016, Stephanie competed at Memoriad, taking silver in division.
From California, Stephanie was a member of the Chinese American Abacus Association, a three-time grand champion at the World City Cup, a three-time gold medalist at the World Association of Abacus and Mental Arithmetic competition, and a grand champion at the Taiwan Chamber of Commerce-International competition.
