Mental Calculation Standard Task Challenge

-Both simulators cover the three standard tasks that are common to Calculation League and the Mental Calculation World Cup: (1) addition (without subtraction included); (2) multiplication; and (3) inexact square roots.

-There are three levels for the test. Level 1 is addition of five 5-digit numbers, 4×4 muliplication, and square roots to 4 significant digits. Level 2 is addition of seven 7-digit numbers, 6×6 multiplication, and square roots to 6 significant digits. Level 3 corresponds to the tasks as used at the Mental Calculation World Cup: addition of ten 10-digit numbers, 8×8 multiplication, and square roots to 8 significant digits.

-The goal is to either submit two correct answers (mini) or ten correct answers (regular) per category. The simulator moves to the next section upon submission of the required number of correct answers.

-The app will display a results page that shows number correct and time taken for each of the three sections. It will also display any questions answered incorrectly with the submitted and correct answer.
